Made from Ambrosia Maple with a hardwood base. Ambrosia Maple is very pale, but also has greyish areas and/or tiny holes caused by burrowing beetles. It makes a lovely wood for frames and each frame will be unique due to the beetles’ various burrowing paths. Don't worry, though, the beetles left years ago.

Each frame is 2” deep and will fit any standard depth (3/4”) or gallery depth (1.5”) canvas or wood panel artwork. Simply select the size and depth of your artwork and we will make a frame to fit your piece with a float gap of approximately 1/4”.

Some people choose to mount their artwork with nails, while others prefer screws. For standard depth canvases, we’ve added the option to have us drill pilot holes in the frames to assist with mounting your artwork if using screws. Please select whether or not you’d like to add them at no cost.

Although we have some frames in stock, most are made-to-order, so please allow about 3 weeks for us to complete your order.

Shipping:Please note that all orders can be picked up! If you require delivery, Muskoka area orders have a flat rate delivery charge of $15. Orders outside of Muskoka have a flat rate charge of $25, but should your order cost more for us to ship, we may contact you to let you know the additional shipping cost. If at that point you decide not to continue with your order, it will be fully refunded. Shipping costs depend entirely on your location and the size of your order.
